Match Report Press Report

Trojans 5 Lost to Avenue 3.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 2 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 1 string should have been the closest, with only 43 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, GEOFFREY LEES, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 5 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 130 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, ROSS LINES.

Player of the match must be the Away number 4 string, JIM BAIN, who over-turned a 1436 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
